RH has invested more than K1 billion in PNG's growing property sector.
PNG is a young, growing economy with a population that is becoming increasingly urbanised. Port Moresby is the hub for PNG's economic activity, supported by its resources sector. The country's demand for retail, accommodation and other property is set to increase in the decades to come. RH has made significant long-term investments in PNG's property sector.
Vision City in the Waigani Valley, Port Moresby, is a large integrated development that commenced operating in 2010 with the Vision City Mega Mall.
The development is the largest of its kind in PNG and represents a K1 billion investment that bolster our tourism and bench marking PNG retail industry. It is expected to directly and indirectly support around 5,000 jobs and more. The development incorporates:
- 375 retail tenancies
- 55,000m3 of retail space
- A 5 star 438-room and a 4-star 200 room hotel
- A twin-tower office facility
- 200 serviced apartments
